Ubiquiti UniFi Fail-Safe Strike Lock UACC-Lock-Strike-Safe-8mm Electric Strike Lock
The UniFi Fail-Safe Strike Lock is an electric door lock that recesses into the door frame. It is a fail-safe lock: on power loss it unlocks automatically, so the door can always be opened. The lock holds up to 227 kg (500 lb) and runs on 12V DC. A built-in door status contact reports whether the door is open or closed, so the system keeps track of door status.
Built for installers adding access control to single wooden or metal doors within a UniFi setup. The fail-safe behavior suits doors where safety and free passage during emergencies come first, such as escape routes. The lock ships with a short and a long front plate, so it fits different frames.
